The Player News You Need

Powerball is coming to Michigan.

The Michigan Lottery says that it will be offering Powerball very soon – possibly as soon as late January or February. So, stay tuned for more jackpots and more excitement!!

We will be adding Powerball to all of our current selections. So you will be able to order: All Mega Millions, All Classic Lotto, and now All Powerball. For split plays we will now offer 3 choices of split plays: (1) half Mega Millions and half Classic Lotto; (2) half Powerball and half Classic Lotto; and (3) half Powerball and half Mega Millions.

One of the very cool options in Powerball is the Power Play option, but the cost of those tickets is double. It won’t double what we have to charge, but it will be more, so we will start by only offering pools with the regular tickets and will see how the requests come in for the Power Play tickets.

But in the meanwhile, here is how it works: A number between 2 and 5 is drawn. That number is a multiplier that multiplies all non-jackpot winnings by that number. So, if the multiplier or Power Play number is 3 and a ticket wins $10,000, the prize would be increased to $30,000. That prize could go as high as $50,000. If all five white balls are hit, the prize is automatically moved up to $1 million or 5 times the regular prize.

So, watch for emails and check our website for further updates.

Give us your feedback.

As many of you know, your PowerPick Players Club offers some pretty terrific contests with some pretty good odds of winning too. One of our more popular contests is the Weekly Free Drawing. There is simply nothing easier than entering. All you have to do is go to the “Contests and Drawings” tab on the internet, enter your name and ID # and you are automatically in the running for a great prize.

We thought it might be nice to get some of your ideas and feedback on the prize categories. Some of the items to be won have been free gas cards, movie tickets, restaurant certificates, candy, coffee, ice cream and even grocery store gift cards. We think this offers a pretty great and interesting variety that most folks can use.

Below is a list of some of the categories we just mentioned. Please take a minute to pick your favorite items for us. This will allow us to continue some of the more popular choices and there’s also a space for you to write down some ideas that you may have as well. Please check your favorite THREE (3) prizes below.

Please give us some of your ideas:

We’ll post the results in our next newsletter. Thanks to each of you for taking the time and offering your feedback. Your participation makes us better!

  3. In order to hold costs down, numbers purchased for you and your group will be posted on our website only. Under "Raffle Pools" you will be able to enter your ID number and we will post the raffle serial numbers purchased for you.
  4. Once the drawing occurs, our handy dandy state of the art computer will tell us immediately who the winners are and what your share is. We will post this on the website as well.
  5. Due to the fact that there will be a limited number of tickets sold, and we don’t know when they will sell out, all orders are subject to availability and we recommend you get your order in as soon as possible. You may Email us your order, call us or send a check.
