The Arizona State Lottery is going to be having its 3rd raffle. As before, tickets will be sold for $20 each. There will only be 350,000 total tickets sold. Once those are gone ... that’s it. The whole idea of these raffles is that there are better chances and more prizes available and that is the big attraction. This time there are significantly more prizes. The lottery added 350 New Prizes improving the overall odds of winning.

Still, as with any game of chance, there’s no such thing as a sure thing. However, in an effort to give folks the BEST POSSIBLE chance of winning a prize, pooling is still the odds on favorite for increasing those chances and having more fun at the same time. Last raffle, our player pools did better than expected with 6 $1,000 Winning Tickets. We’re planning on bigger & better this time.

So we’ve put our thinking caps on to try and find a way to give our members the best advantage if they choose to play the Arizona Lottery’s Raffle game in a pool.

Here are the pertinent facts:

Tickets go on sale Oct 6
There will be TWO top prizes of $1,000,000
There will be five prizes of $100,000
There will be 30 prizes of $10,000
There will be 700 prizes of $1,000
NEW - There will be 350 prizes of $500
The drawing will be held on Jan 8, 2009 to determine the winners
There will be 1,087 winning tickets in all

We are proposing the following:

You can spend $20 and be placed in a pool with 4 others (so 5 total), sharing 4 raffle entries.
If you’d like to spend more, you can order multiple pools. Thus, $20 for 1 pool, $40 for 2 pools, $60 for 3 pools, etc.
In order to hold costs down, numbers purchased for you and your group will be posted on our website only. Once your order has been placed and we purchase the raffle tickets, you can come back to this page and enter your ID number to view the raffle serial numbers purchased for you.
Once the drawing occurs, our handy dandy state of the art computer will know immediately who the winners are and what your share is. We will post this on the website as well.
Due to the fact that there will be a limited number of tickets sold, and we don't know when they will sell out, all orders will be subject to availability. You may send a check or pay using your credit card or check by phone information. WE ARE NOW TAKING ORDERS.
